Securing Your Spot: A Guide to Navigating the Waitlist
Finding the perfect apartment can sometimes feel like a game of musical chairs—except the music has stopped and all the seats are taken. If you’ve fallen in love with one of our communities, but we don’t have availability, don't lose heart! Joining our waitlist is the best way to ensure you're next in line for your dream home.
Here is exactly how to navigate the process and get your name on the list.
1. Get the Whole Crew Approved
The first step isn't just a sign-up sheet; it’s a full application. To keep the list organized and ready for move-ins, we require that anyone 18 or older who plans to live in the apartment fill out an application.
Why? This ensures that once a unit opens up, there are no administrative delays. You're already "vetted" and ready to sign a lease.
The Goal: Every legal adult in your household must meet the approval criteria before you can move to the next step
2. The Waitlist Deposit
Once your applications are approved, it’s time to put your money where your move is. You will need to pay a waitlist deposit.
The Amount: Our current waitlist deposit fee for all of our properties is $200.
The Perk: Once this deposit is paid, your application remains valid for your entire stay on the waitlist. You won't have to worry about your paperwork "expiring" while you wait for the right floor plan to open up.
3. Risk-Free Planning
One of the best parts about this specific process is the flexibility. The waitlist deposit is fully refundable at any time. If your plans change, you find another spot, or you decide to move to a different city, you can get your money back. It’s a low-risk way to hold your place in line.
4. From Waitlist to Welcome Home
When the stars align and your favorite apartment becomes available, your waitlist deposit doesn't just disappear into a "fee vacuum." Instead, it is applied directly towards your security deposit. Think of it as a head start on your move-in costs.
